this was probably the most boring book of all time, but it was a great book in the sense that had sinclair not published this book, we'd still probably be eating all that disgusting food.

i think if "disgusting food" is all you got from that book, you really missed something. It wasn't just about corrupt factories. It also was about ignorance of foreigners, government, capitalism, socialism, our country's evolution....i can't say that this book was all that but it defiently was something more.
