Today I usually read e-books. The readers offer anotation possibilities but I very rarely used them. Made some annotations when studying when the books were my own, but also rarely because I don't like to read books by someone else.

Preference for book covers: sober, illustrated or?

On my electronic scriptures (LDS Gospel Library app) I annotate and highlight passages. In the past I dogeared corners rarely and began using bookmarks to this day.

Sober, albeit my books I have made for my family are like the background to my Padlet (pix beneath a pink Dogwood tree).

Would you rather read a novel based on a true story of someone you know or a fictional novel where a character is based on you ?

(I'm currently reading a book (TASH a memoir) by someone I know from my poetry group... https://www.amazon.com/Tash-Linda-Th...s%2C851&sr=1-1 )

I had a look at the sample. It's very well written and it seems your friend has a very lively imagination.

I wouldn't like reading myself as a character in a novel. But about someone I know okay if it is an interesting story.

Would you like someone writing about you or do you prefer to do it yourself?

We've been blessed with moderately hot days lately, but I'll go with a soft waxing gibbous moon to grace the heavens tonight

Creative tasks or analytical tasks ?
