I'll check out the movie on TUBI - a free content provider
Update: Watched the movie (spoilers)... A light tragedy about love with a happy ending during a simpler time. Enjoyed the lightness of the music throughout; not too disconcerting with the dialog always being sung in French (with English subtitles)
"Love-making,--how simple a matter!"... Enjoyed this surprising poem by Browning
