I usually read e-books these days. They are saved in a reader (Read Era) and when I resume reading the book automatically opens on the right page. But I like bookmarks.
Place to keep books: on shelves, piled in cartoons or?

Looked up Read Era... interesting.
Books: in a shelf system falling apart in a spare room, in boxes, in a solitary drawer propped up to my bed, and scandalously strewn on this desk still (a few more chapters of The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul read just now... still can't make heads nor tales (sic) of it - bookmarked by a sheet of 8 1/2" x 11 " paper (folded once) with handwritten notes on it pertaining to my non-functioning Lenovo laptop and a DMV reminder scribble. Oh, and on an oak desk in another spare room piled with flotsam and jetsam in a room I can barely get into.
Would you rather live in a Futuristic City or an Ancient Kingdom ?

Lol! I had to give away my books or the situation wouldn't be different. Now I have a few solitary reminders on my dining table.
In an ancient kingdom with a very decent king.
Would you prefer to live in Ancient Greece, Ancient Rom or at the time of the Founding Fathers?

Perhaps a free thinking philosopher in ancient Greece with a poison immunity.

Me too!
I believe I'm better at stories. Specially those I haven't written as yet.
Do you prefer long or short forms of poetry?
