The following is my offering for the Thursday at Two poetry group I belong to for tomorrow. The prompt was for an ekphrastic representation that related to greenery:
Greenery and Grace
it's mid-June and still
Summer just days away
a light breeze takes
the edge off the heat
and the greenery
still predominates
each morning's been chill
God's glory on display
so much I forgive my aches
finding joy as sweet
glimmers in the scenery
so transubstantiates
