I'm debating on reading either A Lesson Before Dying by Ernest Gaines or The Chosen by Chain Potok for a school project. I've read excerpts and a general summary for both of these books and they both sound really interesting. If you've read one or both of them, I'd love to hear your opinion on it/them.
