    Classical studies on Greek tragedy

    Hello!

Lately, I've been poring over classical Greek studies, and now I'm interested in some studies on Greek tragedy. Do you happen to know some good works on this subject (preferably older, classics themselves, established works)?

If you're looking for commentaries, check out James C. Hogan's (two books) on Aeschylus and Sophocles--aka "Hogan's (Tragic) Heroes." Hogan worked before post modernism got out of control but not so long ago to be collecting dust. Maybe someone else can advise you on Euripides. Good luck.
