Insane
They think me insane
But they don't know
what goes on inside my brain
They call themselves smart
just because
They're at the top of the chart
They think they're above me
Like a bird
In a tree
Even though they don't know
the real me
But the thought never crosses their mind
That we are all running out of time
They don't prepare for what is to come
They'd rather sit around and drink rum
They'd risk it all just for some enjoyment
Even if it causes their family torment
In the end, it's their choice to bare
I'm just tired of being the only one who cares
And if that makes me crazy,
That I don't force my eyes hazy,
Then I'd pick insanity any day
Because that's just the price I pay
I'd rather have control
I'd rather keep my soul
I'd rather be unknown
Than be another clone
And wined up in some hole
Because then I'd be truly
Alone
