Oral Roberts (no pun intended) once recorded a sermon about human sexuality and it just exemplifies the lunacy of a literal reading of the Hebrew scriptures.

Here is a longer version of the sermon.

For human sexuality issues I would recommend reading Larry Young, "The Chemistry Between Us" (2012). It is a survey of research done on human sexuality after the invention of neural imaging tools such as fMRI. It should set you on a more modern path. Young not only criticizes the Oral Roberts groups but also those who might be considered more "liberal" who followed various social construction of gender theories such as those proposed by John Money: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Money
My rule of thumb is any theory of sexuality originating prior to the 1980's should be seriously questioned unless someone today can back up that theory with neural imaging data.
