The Vedas
Dear forum readers,
I have been pretty anxious lately to read the Vedas, however, I am unable to find any full edition paperback nor kindle (or ePub) version. My question is if you know of any full (translated) version and where I can find/purchase it.
I shall be very grateful,
Thank you!

Maybe
Eknath Easwaran's translation, "The Upanishads", is one that I've read and enjoyed. I don't know how this fits in with the Vedas, but I think they are part of them.

Dear YesNo, thanks for your reply.
The Upanishads are indeed linked with the Vedas, they were written after them, that's why they are also known as "Vedanta", which means "conclusion of the Veda".
Since the Vedas are filled with mythological beliefs, the Upanishads are commonly linked to a theological and ethical explanation of the human beings.
That's why I want to read the Vedas, to link both mythological explanations with the hindu ethics.

This might be what you are looking for: http://hinduonline.co/DigitalLibrary...urVedasEng.pdf
I have not read it and I probably would not understand it without a commentary, but I would be interested in discussing it.
