    Hello to all

My Name is Jon, and I am a graduate student seeking an advanced degree in Humanities - Classical Literature, with a capstone certificate in Education - Teaching.

I am a retired US Marine, and currently I train upland Game Bird Dogs for a career. I am pursing my education in order to position myself for a career change to college - level professorship.

I have just joined this forum, in the hope it will expand my horizons and my learning of the humanities in general and literature in specific.
Thanks for reading my exceedingly short bio!
    Jon

Welcome, WB. Thank you for your service. When it comes to literature, there's nothing like jumping in headfirst. I hope you find this pool enjoyable. Please make yourself at home.

Welcome to you, too, Tea-bing. The LitNetters won't be shy with their critiques, so fire away!

Welcome Witchbottles, and for your informative bio. Americans seem to be the main group here, I am sure you will be at home on LitNet.

    Hi everybody.

I am an Anglist from Wuerzburg (Germany). Rereading Episode 11 of Ulysses (Sirens) I wanted to ask a question about the deaf waiter Bald Pat, which I shall do in an appropriate forum in a few minutes. Till then, best wishes to all of you!

No, I'm sorry. I've never read Joyce. There are some here who have, though, so don't hesitate to start a thread.

Hello! I'm literary critic on Polish forum and begginer writer. People told me to go away, so I'm looking for other languages' forums to improve myself as cultural human being.
Sorry for my English, especially for comas. I'm putting them as it's proper in Polish. Also my grammar isn't correct but I hope to learn from everyone here.
    I hope to be useful!

Witamy, BEL6. Are you really under my bed? How scary! Anyway, never mind the dummies from the other site. It's nice to have you with us.

Thank you, Dreamwoven, Popmpey Bum! I really appreciate! It's nice to see Polish words here.
I'm not really angry or depressed. They had the right to send me away - at some point instead of only reading their literary work, I forced them to learning and thinking. It seem to be hard nowadays.
Indeed I am. Under every bed on this world. It's like being in someone's mind but much funnier. Can't be seen and defined where but I'am somewhere.
Alright! It's time for me to read!
