    Tough but touching.

I have really enjoyed this novel in which two different but intertwined story lines are merged. Two different characters embark on a search to find a birth parent. Neither mawkish nor sentimental the author manages to treat an emotional subject with wit and dry humour.

Maybe I've missed something, but what novel are you talking about?

No, actually I think I'm missing something. A brain perhaps. Sorry about that.
The novel is called 'Any place I hang my hat' by Susan Isaacs.
