Wellcome, Ben, I think many would agree with you, looking for stories with a twist.

I've just finished reading an Anne Perry book of 19th century London -"Cain his brother". Now there is a book with a twist. Anne Perry had a strange past, read it up in the Wikipedia article on her. I have a whole shelf of Anne Perry's work.

    Hi all,

My names is Jason. By day I am an IT nerd and by night a book nerd. I'm originally from Illinois but after many adventures and plots twists, I find myself currently living in Prague, CZ.

I have written more about Anne Perry and her work in the book review section. See the tag there on Anne Perry.

Bonjour, salut, hello, hola. I hate writing introductions about myself, so rather I'd just like to invite people to get to know me.

I'm sure you will. I like this place. I think I'll bug you guys for a while.

FYI: Basic info - My name's Natalie, I live in London, I work in publishing, I will probably piss you off with my stubborn opinions.

Hi All, just registered today ,with great difficulty. I live in the West of Ireland, and the broadband is rather hit and miss occasionally. I have tried to read Ullyses on a number of occasions , but failed miserably. My last attempt was about 20 years ago. Im now 58 years young, and have decided to give it another shot. I know its a masterpiece , simply because all the scholars and ordinary people who revere this work, cannot all be wrong. So, there has to be something there ! Im not acedemic in any way. Im a paramedic in the HSE National Ambulance Service. I live in Co. Mayo, and my name is John. Perhaps ,this time I may succeed, having the benefit of the great university of life. I intend to start soon, very slowly ,under no pressure. Wish me luck

Hey everyone. I'm absolutely sure my name would be hard to pronounce so I just go by Faust.

The last book I've read is Stick and Rudder - an explanation of the art of flying by Wolfgang Langewiesche. I'm currently a literature student in a far far away country whose educational system had me ended in my current major whereas I always wanted to fly. Enjoying and savoring literature and studying it as a major had been completely different experiences for me and let me tell you the latter is not quite pleasant.

I am about to gradute in June with quite mediocre grades and finally going to have a chance to hopefully land a fullride cadetship with my national flag carrier airline. I have my own pieces and I believe there is more on the way when I finally pin those wings up on my chest and cheat on land with clouds.

This is my first post and I hope it will not go unnoticed. Any contribution to my crippled knowledge of literature is highly appreciated. Feel free to contact me through pm. Nice to meet you all.

G'day Johnny, I haven't read it myself. Good luck with it. In Australia we just got N. B. N, (National Broadband Network). It's supposed to be the best thing yet in broadband. So far it is no faster than my old ADSL. hahaha
