Hi David
My thoughts exactly
Welcome to everyone!
Regarding TV, I wonder if the internet in general or social media technology like Facebook or even this site in particular are its modern replacement. We have simply advanced beyond TV like moving from vinyl records to compact disks or even more recently digital storage in the cloud. It is better to have the opportunity to talk back that TV didn't provide in the past.

Hi,
I am from São Paulo, Brazil. I'm very happy to meet you. I was looking for a site where I could talk to people from numerous countries about cultural themes and that´s how I found LitNet.
Literature has been with me in one form or another during my whole life. I started as a voracious reader, and much later I also studied Literature (MA and BA in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature) and I still do.
I look forward to meeting you on these pages.![]()

Hello,
I am new in the forum and want to know whats going on?
Hi there! Let me introduce myself. My name is Stephane. I'm from New York, but was born in Canada, Ontario. I'm glad to be here now.)
Welcome to the LitNet forums, Stephan.
Hi everyone. New here. I like reading and anything literature. I just noticed my love for classic books like To kill a mockingbird and this made me realize I wanted to be a English teacher. I love Shakespeare especially his tragedies(currently reading macbeth for class and Hamlet at home).
I also love reading Macbeth: welcome!
Hey guys, I'm new here! In my free time I love to read mystery and adventure novels. I especially like those novels depicting a dystopian or utopian world, like Hunger Games and Divergent!![]()
PS: I can't stand Twilight at all.
