No it doesn't. In my Anatomy and Physiology class I learned that noise is only heard if a creature with the capability of hearing it is there. A tree falling down is only making sound by pushing the molecules in the air.
But noise is vibration of molecules. If a tree falls, the air molecules still vibrated, and therefore there was sound with no one to hear it. I think it makes noise.

Why would you put a tape recorder in a forest? Too bad you can't stick one under water...that would be something. Okay here is a question can you be born a boy but raised a girl? thank you Night, I have worried about that for years. It all makes so much sense now that you have told me. Because I would be late getting ready for school and lo both one sock and that all important English essay I laboured over for three nights would be gone-vanished into thin air as it were. I have such peace now knowing they started a new life together and are doing quite well!!!!
