Velazquez, but dang this is cool, and I had not seen it before. Still, that red pope.

Shakespeare's Julius Caesar or The Tempest?

And how about the Venetian Water merchant, the Rokeby Venus, Christ Crucified, Las Meninas, the Surrender of Breda.

    Haven't read them yet.

Ian McKellen's Richard III or Branagh's Henry V?

Neither one, really, but at least Branagh's was in period dress.

Prince Hal in Henry IV I & II or his eventual grown up self in Henry V (aka "Hank Cinq")?

Balethquez is a lot of fun, though.

French. It tastes like Proust to me, hahaha.

El Greco for sure, of course.

    Balzac or Stendhal?

Not too tight, but not wide either. And yes, nukes for the time being.

Van Gogh was a poor person, right?
I can't say I'm that interested in reading about either class in general, or of a random rep of the classes.

    Reading about painters or composers?

Yellow if I must choose one, by a long way.

Sibelius. Shostakovich's taut angst doesn't do a whole lot for me. Am I being unfair?

    Brahms' Clarinet Quintet or Mozart's?

I think you are a bit unfair, especially to e.g. the Preludes & Fugues, the string quartets, the piano concertos. The melancholia is a part of Russian music in general, and it's not just angst.
    But, I too prefer Sibelius.

    Brahms

    Prokofiev or Bartók?
