Bad language: Well, as Classicists say, the only good language is a dead language.

Desideratum: Something desired that one does not already have. A sense of lack and therefore a source of suffering.

Interpret: To translate into an understandable form. When one speaks through an interpreter, not knowing the language, you are at that person's mercy. Perhaps they say what you said, perhaps they said what they thought others would want to hear. I am positive this caused most of the Native American Wars here in the States.

    Some of us lie

Wooly Mammoth: An extinct elephant-like animal that may have inadvertently left enough DNA in specimens found in the ice to practice cloning them. When we finally do clone them, will they like the fact that their ancient, runt-like, pesky, hunting and gathering predator brought them back to life?

Organic: A food or beverage label implying the product will cost more. Although most products benefit from the “organic” label, some products, like bottled water, are best without it.
