Neen, ik spreek niet goed Nederlands--only enough to get myself in trouble. Ik ben Amerikaans. It's always interesting to see how close Dutch is to its English cousin, though. If you run into Kiki, she speaks Dutch (and German and French, I think). Welcome again to the site.

    Hello to everybody
I've got a question concerning William Wordsworth. Does anybody know who was the Collins in the poet's poem Remembrance of Collins?

Hi everyone, A friend recommended I check this place out and so far, his advice has not failed me. I love reading and writing (that should be obvious) as well as lots of outdoorsy activities. I'm a graduate student in physics, which makes a lot of people question my sanity and dedication to writing. But the truth is, I chose physics to be a challenge for myself and didn't really expect to go this far with it. I'll get my degree in a few years and who knows what I'll do then. I like the research but it doesn't leave me a lot of writing time. I've always had grand ambitions, some of which I still plan to accomplish. Two of my ambitions, which I hope to realize before I graduate, are getting my motorcycle license and taking helicopter flight lessons.

Welcome Abnormalalien! it sounds like you have some interests that could give a valuable sense of authenticity to your fiction (if that is what you want to write). How many other writers know what happens in a physics lab, or helicopter cockpit, or on the back of a Harley? That's bound to be an advantage. In any case, welcome to the site. It's nice to have you here.

Hi, I'm a literature lover passionate about everything related to Victorian Age. My favorite authors are Charles Dickens, George Eliot, and Thomas Hardy (my nickname is taken from a character of his, indeed).

Hello there. My nick is Tweedledum and I have came across this site accidentally (and I looked for a book forum for quite some time.) I am now reading/writting and do some work here and there. I love to read (obvoius) fiction a lot (magic, fantasy, maybe some dystopian and SF if it is extremely good.) I have yet to built my list on goodreads (that, if I can actually remember all of the books I have read.) Now, I hope I am welcomed.

Your hope has come true, Tweedledum. You are indeed welcome. As far "extremely good" dystopian novels go, I am hearing good things about J, although I have not read it yet. Welcome again to the site and please enjoy yourself.
