Ever seen one of those movies about crazed prospectors in the old west? The way they hunger and obsess for gold is how those with literary aspirations hunger for their recognition. Now those miners would do about anything to claim the motherlode for themselves, including killing the one with the legal claim on it. There is a lesson in that somewhere, unless you just happen to figure that people are more honest than they used to be and needn't be worried about anymore, morally or ethically. Hmmm...don't ask me the difference, okay?
