I need to understand the narrator better because I have an essay coming up shortly.
Here are some things that I already know:
  • He is insane
  • He is cleve
  • The "eye" is a reflection the narrator; "eye" and "I" sound the same. The narrator denies that he is insane/ evil
  • unknown gender
  • unreliable narrator

If you could tell me how the character changes I would really appreciate it.
