Currently, I am in the process of studying for an entrance exam on British and American literature. I've figured out most of the topics that were assigned but there are two that I'd like to check with someone else.
The first question is:
What were the features of the American romance against the aesthetics of the European realistic novel?

and the second one:
What is Melville's interpretation of evil in Moby Dick?
