I saw the announcement for this essay contest on Richard Nordquist's Grammar and Composition website.
Alas, yours fooly cannot enter the competition as I am not in the age group (Ahem.) But if any LitNutters within the ages of 13-21 might want to look into it. It's an intriguing topic -- a passage from Walden. Best of all, there is no entry fee.
