i love the idea of side awards. I'll think of some possible side-awards, and hopefully have them up for tomorrow (tomorrow my time, so i dont know when it is for anyone else, but ill have them up soon.)

suggestions are welcome as to what these side-awards could be. things such as Most Witty, Funniest Poster, Best Avatar, etc....

Best idea Award ( as in idea for a thread)
Best insane poster ( way too many of us have odd secvondry personalities and maybe this is not the right name)
    The most Random award
    best sig
    best avatar
    most changed avatar
most useful about the useless info people are always needing

hey I think I could probably think of an award for almost everyone!
if i had long enough and alot of help

I think in this case the results of the poll shouldn't be made public much like a real election just leaving it up to the mods to tally the vote. My biggest concern is hurt feelings, since it is a competition as Koa mentioned that could be a problem for some people and not seen in the fun, light manner this is intended. And I agree with Sub about nominating just a few people including yourself if you wish rather than having to nominate yourself.

And what about having couple different categories instead of just one? Most congenial, most whatever. Could that be a possibility?

Nope. I don't think the nominations should be private because they're going to be up for the vote anyway. And who's Professor Pes?

well it's not about the hurt feelings cos noone here seem the kind of person to take that so seriously, it just seems kinda useless to me...it's kinda about popularity... though I quite like the idea of the different cathegories.

i'm still in doubt whether to partecipate or not, firstly because i wouldnt know who to nominate...

(and anyway we all know that mono will win )
dead on the inside, i've got nothing to prove

these have already been discussed, and im thinking of awards on the side now for people to be able to participate.

im thinking that there should be about 10 awards in total. views??

Okay, I see now. Think I neglected to read through previous posts - shame on me. And Prez Pes - get that too. Cute. Also, the list of nominated members is almost exactly what I would have expected and nominated myself. Great job you guys!
