Lightbulb Practice is Ornament of Faith.

    Peace be on you.
Faith based willpower, knowledge and practice are connected. Strong faith in God energizes willpower and eventually practice glow uniquely. Matters are blessed.

A comparison can make the point clear. Governments work hard, make rules and take other measures to ensure that society is not destroyed by intoxication. However, people find their ways to get what they want.

In the beginning, alcohol was not yet prohibited for Muslims. When commandment of God, about prohibition of alcohol, was announced in Madina, people were drinking in houses. In one such gathering, when they heard, they stopped drinking and someone said they should go out and check the details. The other person broke the pitcher with stick and said they should obey first obey and find the specifications latter. On that day, alcohol flooded the streets of Madina.

Similarly when Ahmadiyya Promised Reformer Messiah (on whom be peace) told his companions about his detest of hookah (tobacco pipe arrangement), they immediately got rid of the habit of smoking it.

Sometimes due to weak willpower, lack of knowledge, bad habits, love of material things or simply corrosion of heart, a person is not able to do good deeds.

Self reflection and steps are needd to improve power of practicing good deeds.

[Based on words of Ahmadiyya Khalifah (a.t), U.K.]

It seems that the point you are making is that religious example can be more effective than a government ban. I think that might be the case.
