    Hello everyone from Italy!!
I'm a first-year student at the faculty of foreign languages and cultures at the university of Rome, called "Roma Tre". I chose the English Language as my principal language, because i've always been attracted by the american culture. Unfortunately, i've not read so much of the american literature and culture, so i hope being a member of your community would help me to make it up.

You don't need a summary for Emerson; you can read the whole thing here:

    https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Essay.../Self-Reliance

Benjamin Franklin has numerous biographies. You can read Wikipedia for starters, or you can read the one Franklin wrote himself here:

    http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/148

Though be advised that American English in the mid-18th century looks and reads somewhat differently from today's.

I'm mathematical who works in Italy in a library. My job exactly is this, but my interests started from mathematics and economics for going to lliterature.
I have won two literary games at Salerno in 2008 and 2011 and I would like send to you some short history.
My economical interests are about the game theory and the asymmetric information.
