    Help: Elements of fiction assignment

What element of fiction would you change about Brave New World?

If, indeed, the project is to show the interrelationship between two or more of the six elements, and to change one, thus altering Huxley's New World concept, one would think you'd begin with setting and plot - the two easiest to manipulate. Alter the setting by placing it in the very near future rather than 500 years off, and you've altered the whole of the work. It worked for George Orwell when he stole the idea; no reason it can't work for you.

Brave New World - the article "A" isn't present in the title.

It doesn't sound like this person has to re-imagine the content of the novel, but change the form (and style) in which it's presented. In that way, I would choose character and point of view. Taking a novel and turning into a blog allows your to get into a character's head in a more intimate way. Taking a novel and turning it into a speech hypes of the rhetoric (already pretty blatant) in this case. Turning it into a poem can stress the symbolism. In fact, this assignment is both good and bad becasue it basically does itself for you - just reach out and grab it.
I wrote a poem on a leaf and it blew away...
