So hello everyone.
After many years I decided to re-read Don Quixote and came here to look for discussions of the various translations. I have no memory of what translation I read all those years ago! I now have the Ormsby, mostly because I liked the looks of the Easton Press edition, a quick look at Amazon reviews told me that the Ormsby was well respected, and I was able to pick it up on eBay for a reasonable sum. Actually, spotting it there is what gave me the impetus to re-read it. I guess I was in the right mood as well.
So, off to explore this site!
