I never cared or worked hard at school, so I have no idea about exams and such, besides things to show up and do and then celebrate the possibility of having winged it and passed it.

Having a good night sleep and the possibility to have pleasant dreams.
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.

A job well done. Last month my work site was approved for certification, I worked pretty hard at it so it was a big sigh of relief AND the auditor said that if we weren't the best we were on of the best sites in my company.

    Go Papaya!

We had been known as a site with poor housekeeping and due to the certification we made some changes and last week two outsiders (independently) mentioned that our plant was clean.

    Congratulations, Buh4Bee - I hear that's a stringent one.

By the by, decluttering is more than just tidying up and whisking a duster round - it's more a radical reassessment of one's lifestyle and the impedimentia that goes with it. Some of the decisions are quite hard and thought-provoking - Just why am I keeping this? Do I really need this? Perhaps you haven't moved around enough yet to have accumulated this detritus!

And congratulations, Papaya - I've done industrial BS (British Standards) audits so I know how stressful the attention to minutiae can be. Hope you are having a celebratory (or restful) weekend.

Working hard at something I like and seeing results, winning, helping out someone who needs it, cleaning, and doing better than I thought I would do at something I suck at.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better, it's not.

Thats What I did in highschool, it was horrible - 2 years at university and university is faaaar easier than the IB

And a little fun fact, when you finish highschool and get the IB diploma, people go everywhere to university. But when you meet someone at your university or in life who has done the IB as well, there is a huge imediate bond, it feels as if you went to school together so great is that bond of having survived the IB

I gave my students something to write. I feel a great sense of satisfaction. They were mostly puzzled and confused, but in the end interested. I am curious to see what they do with it.

So my satisfaction comes in giving them something to do instead of trying to get them or make them do something. Very satisfying indeed.

It is a good question. I get a satisfaction when I challenge and overcome my weaknesses.

This is old. Rereading what I wrote, makes me want to vomit. I was pretty smug when I wrote this.
