Back when I was in school in my Contemporary poetry class there is this particular poem that always stuck with me, but I could never remember the author and the title I think I know but am not 100% positive. I would love to find the poem again.
Here is what I have:
I am pretty sure the poet was a man
It was written in the 20th century by a fairly well known poet.
Pretty sure he was American or English
I think the poem was called Pillow Talk
It was a fairly short poem about a man and women in bed after an intimate moment. She rolls over on top of him and points to his chest and says something to the effect of "Right here in your I would plunge the knife if you ever betrayed me"
