Thanks for the links. I'm rather impressed with the two poems. I enjoyed the rhythms and assonance of the verses. The subjects were very well handled and immediately accessible. Not surprising, given her status and catalogue. Definitely an American voice though, it comes across in the idiom of her language.

I enjoyed the book Stag's Leap. The individual pieces make sense within the whole especially the final poem where resolution is achieved.

Found them both a bit meh. The second one especially seemed a bit amateurish. Can't quite put my finger on what rubs me the wrong way about it.
