Essay help needed

Hi guys, this is my first post on this forum. I just created my account. Today i was given a topic on NOVEL 1984 for an essay.

What idea(s) does the author develop regarding the significance of our memories and the impact they have on our present?

I haven't started on my essay yet as we still have last couple of chapters to go through in class. I'm NOT looking for anybody to do all the work for me etc. What I'm hoping is that people on this forum could review my essay as i write to help me achieve better marks, esp with all the grammars mistakes since English isn't my first language (upgrading English because of this very reason). My last essay i wrote, i lost most of my marks due to poor grammar.

Orwell says, " Those who control the present, control the past, thus controlling the future. "
Meaning, the memories you have control what you do with the present, and what you do in the present controls what you do in the future. So if your memories are changed and twisted continuously the present is always changing as well, changing the future in time.

1984 is George Orwell’s dark vision of the future. It was written while Orwell was dying and based on the work of the Russian author Yevgeny Zamyatin, it is a chilling depiction of how the power of the state could come to dominate the lives of individuals through cultural conditioning. English essay topics are generally difficult to choose. Weak in English makes us to stop further writing. Its better you try to read lots and lots. It may help you to think more and to write good.

I also had problems with the grammars and spelling mistakes when writing the paper works like essay, research papers etc. Also its hard for me to find the best topics for writing the papers. Recently I had to write the research paper on mass media and I was very much confused to find the best mass media research topics. Later by looking at the various topic suggestions, I had picked one and I was able to come up with a good paper.
