I have been sitting beside myself so long...
as long as I have lived perhaps.
The leaves have fallen quietly,
and I see them falling now
they fall like I wish snow flakes would.
There are so many ways to go,
they are going away and away.
I sit and let night come,
let day come again.
There are shadows in the sky
and knots too
and unheld lives in them
and somewhere,
where I cannot find
there is you, sitting long beside yourself
as long as you have lived perhaps...
There is a breath in the water waiting
Begun already
you and me...
it is not ending
We have started in-between
