No problem, how about choosing from Gilliatt's two?

How about these two guitar instrumental variations on a popular Dire Straits song:

    or

    .
ok after listening and going back and forth several times I'm going to pick the first one.

Once again, I'll go with the older/ original version, a decision made easier the moment I saw the second option was the Black Crowes version.

    Next challenge:

    Clementine 1

    or

    Clementine 2

I've posted 2 of these before, but I've found a great third version. I like them all for different reasons. What about you?

I had to go with the Bobby Bland instrumental.
The first few secpnds of the video caught a portion of Bland singing, so I cheated and listened to the full version sung which influenced my decison.
Regardless, the instrumental version on its own conveys a more soulfull, blues feel to the tune.

How about two versions of Route 66:

Chuck Berry, but they both had their merits. A tip of the hat to our Aussie comrades:

All three are fine, but I must go with Satchmo.
Mostly because I had recently picked up an Armstrong CD from a bargain bin.
Why Louis was relegated to the bargain I'll never know.

    How about Shambala?

Ha! no question, Big Mama hands down and that's just based on the video title.
You see, I couldn't watch your video...the signal must have gotten scrambled crossing the Sabine.

    How about "My Old Flame"?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jW6BgNK-OAU ...did you catch the opening line?..."Please sing, the fun's all over if you go to bed"

    or

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9D2A32KUTq0 ....at least stay with it long enough to hear Peter Lorre at 1:30
