Will Doug Harder, Flash Jackson, Pete Thunderheat or Stretch Longfellow be doing any pole dancing? I don't recall any male pole dancers...

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
    "Oh, yes, I do."
    "In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
"That sort of hell wouldn't worry me," Fellowes said.
"Perhaps you've never lost anything of importance," Scobie said.

They exist, they just supply their own pole.

Gotcha. They probably live up to their names then...or I want my money back.

    Thumbs down BAD Dancer Name!

Hi Everyone! I'm new here and I'd like to say Hello. I would also like to add to this conversation...I have been a cocktail waitress in a popular Vancouver (BC, Canada) strip club for over 17 years. I have seen a lot of exotic dancers come and go. A few years ago, a new girl came onto the scene and I almost died when I heard the DJ announce, "Put your hands together forrrrr Baby Pussy!" I think the agent should have been shot to let her start her career with a name like that!

Needless to say strip clubs were attracted by the business there. But I must confess I had never seen anything like these Canadian establishments before. You sat around a low stage & threw "loonies" into a cup the young lady used to hold at strategic locations on her torso. If you so much as put a pinky over the invisible line between the stage & the audience, huge bouncers leapt on you. At the end of the performance the girls used to produce a magnetic belt to gather up the "loonies" that had missed the mark!
Well, I now know America does one thing right: strip clubs. 'Merica.

Not me. Credit goes to RomanaK above followed by Mutatis. From what I read RomamaK speaks from experience.

And RomanK has written books on aspects of this noble profession if I'm not mistaken.

Far be it for me to comment on Alexander's sources!

The strip clubs in Montreal are full contact. There's only one non-contact club in the city that I know of, Wanda's. Not that I'm an expert on the strippers. I just seem to absorb information about them because I have sleazy friends.

Apricots O'Reilly could moonlight... er, daylight?... as an American gangster from the 1930's.
