    A Poem by Logics Cat

    I is logics cat
    I can does logics too
To show free verse is bad I just

    Write

    Bad

    Free verse

    See how easy? I just
    think of something
    and say it
    without a thought fur
    how it’s said
or maybe since I’m a cat I pur
    it
    randomly on the page
    (get the pun
    on pur and
    pour, or fur
    and for? Well, that’s your
    fault).
    Formalism is a dog
    of satan
    chasing my lines up trees

    DON’T!

    Call the fire
    Department
    This
    Isn’t
    Pleasant-

    Ville!

    I is logics cat
    I has done logics too
I'm sure you're all convinced right about now
    let's have some tea for...
a word not ending with "oo"

lol. You may have had to step out of your cat box to write this one. It reminds me of Roald Dahl's quote:

A little nonsense now and then
is relished by the wisest men

I enjoyed it MS for the sheer fun - especially the last lines. Following some of the exchanges that have taken place recently, your wit is not without basis but I'm going to enjoy the 'throw it all to the wind' approach you've used here and have a good chuckle.

I enjoyed this so much it inspired me. Unfortunately I can't post the result without climbing on your band waggon - Bummer! Never mind, I'll save it for Ron.

Hehe, thanks everyone for the comments. This was obviously just a jokey piece I tossed in relation to the recent, errr, forum troubles. I'm glad others got some enjoyment out of it.
