Post Describing yourself as a thing...

If you would describe your life in the past, present, and future, as a thing,
what would those three things be, and why?

    To me...
    Past - Rubiks Cube.
I'd pick rubiks cube because I can say that my life in the past has been so colorful. I've been through different colors of experience. It is also because my life wouldn't be complete without my family and friends.

    Present - Ukelele/Guitar
I'd pick ukelele/guitar not only because I play a lot of it but also because I enjoy my life right now. It gives music. Happiness in life cannot be seen but if you close your eyes, you will see.

Future - a piece of cardboard
Since a cardboard has so many uses, I picked it. I mean there are so many things I want to do in life. I would cut that out into a house and into a many person figure representing that I would turn those up into a real home and into a family.

    What's yours?

Depends on what type of thing, I suppose. I'd imagine you're referring to man-made, inorganic things.

In the past, I was a canvas without primer.

Presently, the canvas is blank and primed.

In the future, I will be a painting.

In past I was a pencil whose writing could easily be edited or even erased.
In present I am like an ink-pen which could only be removed with a certain kind of ink-remover.
In future I will probably be a permanent marker whose writing could be destroyed but not undone.
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.

This is such an awesome thread idea. I don't know why it received so few responses.

Its a tough question. I'll have to get back to you. Maybe that's why lol. I do have to think about it.

    I think I'd be a sword.
