    Well, obviously he was initiated into the cult of Machiavelli. There are series of secret rites asks he had to perform. Killing Anne had nothing to do with power, the cult of Machiavelli required a sacrifice.

    In fact, if you take the first letter of each line in Shakespeare's text, it is an anagram for a secret message.
    I wrote a poem on a leaf and it blew away...
