    transcendence

I think this is really all that matters. That we can be transcendent.

But in which direction? God-ward? Heavenwards?

I suppose hell is just a wrong goal. A wrong choice that forces our blind heart to follow a bad path.

Good transcendence is glorious. You lay in bed terribly sick, and complaining, cursing maybe. And then you realize, God is still there, the future is still safe in Christ's victory over death. Then you can transcend it all.

Without having to run from your fate.

I once transcended a garden by eating the last five cucumbers.

cafonlini, if you disagree with a point of view you are certainly free to express and support your opinion or to ignore the discussion entirely. But it is rude to post flippant non sequiturs. Furthermore, it doesn't advance the discussion at all.

I don't think you understand that I'm very serious about this. There is a lot of transcendence in passing through a garden and eating the last five cucumbers.

He's also free to be flippant and rude if he wants to (trust me).

The doctors didn't know if my eyes would ever heal."
