When I first got this book, I dreaded it. I thought it would be boring and dumb and that there was no point to reading it.
It didn't catch my interest off hand.

Then I started reading it, and it was really good. Yeah.

I don't understand some concepts though.

1. The concept of newspeak, I kind of understand WHY it is, but not WHAT it is, or who it is trying to restrict.

2. B.B. Big Brother. Who is he? Why is he? How did he get in power? And how is he still in power? Oh yeah, and what does he look like? Whenever I think of him I think of a higher power, someone no one ever sees. They don't really explain what he looks like.

3. Proles. Why don't they teach themselves how to write? Or educate themselves. Slaves did it, why can't they? They don't have telescreens and they aren't being watched all the time.

But, that's all I have. Look for my ideas, opinions and stuff.
