I loved this too. I don't know how accurately it was portrayed, but it was fun. I like Kirsten Dunst in the role. I can't remember Jason Schwartzman for some reason. The "I Love Candy" scene sticks in my head. I have this soundtrack on CD, but it is better along with the movie.

Red. Bruce Willis is an ex CIA agent and someone is trying to kill him. He hooks up with some old buddies and well.....you can guess the rest!

An amusing action film, with a VERY loose plot, but hey, you go in with your eyes open!

A 6/10, but I am very critical! Worth a watch!

he played king Louie, it wasn't a big role but he was very interested in keys and not so in his wife for some reason...

anyway I just watched Broken Flowers and I just loved it, Jim Jarmusch is one of the best, the scenes when we just watch Murray drive or stand or sit are captivating, this is missing in so many movies the silent moments.

also watched Edward Scissorhands and it was a whole lot of fun like all of Tim Burton.

    Kiss of the Spider Woman.

Very good film, according to the directors cuts it's one of the earlier independantly financed films, and the acting is very good by both Raul Julia and William Hurt. It was filmed in Brazil towards the end of the military regime and some how they got away with reflecting things that had recently happened in Brazil.

I've seen that. It was very good.

Just watched Ogre. 1/10 for a funny monster/ogre. The rest was crap, and the Ogre wasn't meant to be funny.

Old Joy - Starring Bonnie Prince Billy (Will Oldham) William London

It's pretty melancholic and minimalistic, but it can ring true to alot of people. A story about two old friends who meet up again after not seeing each other in quite a few years. Things have changed for them, but the movie is very subtle and extremely understated in fleshing that out. Very Indie Film.

I like Bonnie Prince Billy a a musician, so that's what led me to this pretty unknown movie.

Anyone prepared to give a Bruce Willis film 6/10 could hardly be described as very critical.

He's quite possibly a better actor than Steven Seagal, but only history will be the judge

He is a better actor than Steven Seagal but that's because Seagal has been making the same film throughout his entire career. Still, nobody can play Steven Seagal like Steven Seagal.

What's with the Bruce Willis hate? He's no great actor, I admit, but he's good at what he does, and he's made more than a few good movies: the first three Die Hards (I enjoyed the fourth, but it just wasn't as good as the first three), Sin City, Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense, The Fifth Element, Mercury Rising, The Jackal, and he was especially good in 12 Monkeys.

He was also in the last movie I watched, definitely a 10/10 and one of my all-time favorites, Pulp Fiction.

Has anyone seen the extended version (2002) of Cinema Paridiso?

Liked or disliked it? I'll give you a hint without spoiling. It gives more insight into the Toto and Elena story - which is very good.

I adored this film. I was glad they ended it where they did.

"Drive" 9/10. This movie far exceeded my expectations. I was thinking it was going to be some sort of "Fast & Furious" garbage nonsense action movie. It was not at all. Very fantastic cinema. Not a chase movie. I would compare it to "Heat" but with a young 80s feel. The cinematography is excellent. The acting is stellar all around. The movie doesn't really do the expected thing throughout. The soundtrack is sexy and outstanding; some of it indie 80s, a lot of it new indie experimental. You'll want to download it and play it over and over.

To me it's about a young man alone who finds purpose. Great work from Ryan Gosling (and I've never seen the notebook), Albert Brooks, Ron Perlman, the whole cast. I'm only giving it a 9/10 because I have to see it again to judge whether I can put it up there with something life changing like "2001: A Space Odyssey", or "The Thin Red Line", or "Mulholland Drive". It could certainly be ranked at the level of "No Country For Old Men" or a number of Coen bros movies.

Here's a clip that doesn't reveal much, but it's a better representation than the American released trailers afforded:
