    Request Help in Finding 2 Classic Spy Shorts

    Really really need help locating these two stories...I've been looking all around, without much success....

    Looking for 2 shorts - names and authors would be great....a link to full text story would be awesome!

    1.
    Ageing plump secret agent in South Africa. An assassin is sent to execute him in his hotel room. He convinces the assasin that the knock on the door is the police and that he should hide in the balcony out of the window, which the assassin does dutifully. Only, there is no balcony!

    2.
    A guy and his sister Pat returning from a party on a snowy evening. See a turned over Mini Minor. They give a ride to the driver, who turns out to be an espionage agent and orders them at gunpoint to take him to their home. They call their dad and tell him they are bringing him home. Only, they dont tell the guy that their dad is the chief of the air force station, and thus drive the guy straight into the hands of the law.

    Glad you found the first one. hopefully your reviving the thread will help. The second story could easily be a Robert Arthur plot also--he was awesome, and it's a shame hardly anyone knows him now.
