    Exclamation Portrayal of God.

    God is everywhere,

    omnipresent that is,

but I never found Him in mosque,

    church,cathedral, temple or gurdwara..

    all I found there

was emphasis on protocol, manners and rituals.

Moses was rightly ‘punished’ by God

for scolding the poor shepherd boy

who in his innocence addressed God

    out of honest love

in a manner not typical in synagogues!!

Why does God require protocol/etiquette to address Him?

If God is found in the tiny lodge of heart

    Why then should one go

to such huge places of worship??

I think an honest heart itself

    is a portrayal of God!!

God doesn’t die with the stoppage of heartbeat..

nor does he live there any more.

HE also does not perish into dust with the demise of heart.

He rules everything and is everywhere….

watching and smiling at us and our human follies.

Let’s do something to get him here.

    Can we??

I'm not sure if this really counts as a poem or a personal sermon. Is it in the right strand? One also wonders if you've ever been in a synagogue.

    What's so special about places??
All are more or less the same
    Maybe they're full of people
    less God!

More of a mission statement or personal rant than a poem since there are no poetic devices evident in this piece (apart from its physical shape). Not particularly lyrical or original in style or content.

I'm not sure why you need to explain what 'omnipresent' means either (in the opening line?).
