    Interesting anecdote. Although I would think there'd be lots of people looking like Gründgens in Germany. He seemed to be something of an archetype regarding his looks.

    Vienna will always be the home of the waltz and the Kaiser Walzer has very special memories for me. This recording is as close as I can get to the one I heard in a student night club in Munich's Schwabing district many years ago.
