    Shiny Blue Linoleum

I live in a world of shiny blue linoleum
The floor, the walls, the doors, the ceiling, ad nauseum
You know when I look out my window I can
See The Statue of Liberty, The Eiffel Tower, and Big Ben
The Pyramids, Taj Mahal, The Tower of Babel
Sydney Opera House, Camelot and The Round Table
The Sphinx, Parthenon and even The Colosseum
All of them made out of shiny blue linoleum

My garden, the flowers, the lizards, and the mausoleum
Check it out - they're all made of shiny blue linoleum
To the East there's the beach and beyond that the ocean
And in Summer I find often, after the potion
When I look upward and see the clouds in the sky
So close that I could touch them if they weren't so high
Afterwards I might take a long walk to the museum
Streets and houses, clouds, ocean, sky - all made of shiny blue linoleum!

    great as ever Mr
    especially:

When I look upward and see the clouds in the sky
So close that I could touch them if they weren't so high

    brilliant wit and truth.
