critique partner

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone is interested in becoming my critique partner. I've shown my work to friends, but I have a feeling they won't be honest all the time.
I have written a paranormal romance novel (well, it's almost finished). I am almost eighteen years old, so definitely not an experienced writer. But I was hoping to find someone who is interested in the genre to help me out. Of course I'll critique his/her work as well.

The best approach would be to post the first chapter in the Short Story thread and see what feedback (if any) you get from fellow LitNetters. It's a huge request expecting someone to make such a commitment without seeing the calibre of your work first.

There's generally enough to go around in the Short Story or Personal Poetry forum. Old man hillwalker is one of the cornerstones in terms of LitNet critiquing.

There's good input to be found just by actively posting here.
