Thread: My Introduction + Haiku

    Smile My Introduction + Haiku

I'm new to the world of literature. I mainly like to write poems that twist the rules (sometimes). I mainly program, but write decent-good poetry when bored. Here is my first work (which is a haiku):

    When you leave my hand,
    You return with boundless grace,
    Like a boomerang.

We have a couple of poetry-related forum games you might like: Haiku and Cinquain Chain. In both, you take the last line of the previous poem as the first line of yours. Thus:

    Like a boomerang
    Both of us, circling around
    Unable to meet
You must be the change you wish to see in the world. -- Mahatma Gandhi

    Graceful, but not boundless.
    It is a pretty mini-comedy.

Actually, I was looking for more of a critique. :-/

Boundless grace was a strong image. Not much else to say about the haiku.

My haiku was a critique. There isn't much else to say. It's a brief smile.
