Well, then I guess you just didn't listen to the good music of the 80's then.

I guess not! Frankie goes to Hollywood, Run DMC, Oingo Boingo, Psychedelic Furs, The English Beat...sigh. I love the music of the eighties.

Oh! I loved Frankie Goes To Hollywood! There really was a lot of good stuff in the 80's. It gets a bad rap because the bad stuff was more popular but there was a lot that was good then as well.

I love grunge so I can't say anything about that but the 80's certainly were lighter in tone, I'll give you that.

I love some of it, it's definitely more 'cool' than eighties silliness.

How are you feeling about Queens of the Stone Age these days? Any closer to actually liking them yet?

I like them the way I admire a sleek brand new BMW. But even if I could afford one, I'd buy something different, like a landrover, or a hybrid. ;-)

That is a very interesting analogy, I'm not entirely sure what it means but I think it's a way of saying you don't like them without having to hurt my feelings.

Questioning? Complaining? I was doing nothing of the sort, I assure you; I was only trying to limit my observation to that of which I had direct knowledge. But I'm sure a cultured and multifaceted woman such as yourself, Idril, has great taste in ALL things. I mean, it's not like you lie around the house watching professional wrestling and reality TV programs all day, right?

And your David Gilmour fandom proves you have good taste in men, no matter what other dubious characters may have piqued your interest.

Of course I don't, I can't imagine what would even put that idea in your head.

And some of those characters have been dubious.
