    wind in the willows

I also remember listening to a radio version of Wind in the Willows, possibly BBC, probably in the late 1950s or early 60s. The character voices have remained with me as definitive. Does anyone else remember a version at that time? Incidental music was an oboe or clarinet ... I've always thought I'd like a recording, if it still existed.

    Wind in the Willows

I remember listening to a radio adaptation of the Wind in the Willows on the BBC when I was a small child. My father then read it to me. It remains one of my favourite books.

I can see it's a long time since you posted here, but: yes I remeber this and I also had them on tape read by Kenneth Williams. I am trying to get my hands on a copy of the tapes(mine wore out and they are no longer available to buy) read by the same person as the newer ones just aren't the same. So if anyone has a recording of The Wind in the Willows read by Kenneth Williams that I could buy or borrow, please tell me!!!!
