I would just like to say how much I enjoy this website and reading all of these comments, even if they were a few years ago! Bleak House is my favorite Dickens book, but ,by no means, have I read them all. It is so intricate in the way everyone weaves in and out of Esther's life, as well as the court of Chancery. I am thankful that I was never made to read his work when I was younger, for I feel I would have disliked it for not understanding it. As a child,I never cared for A Christmas Carol and still think it not his best. Mostly, it amazes me the task of creating a story such as this and the great intelligence it took to figure out all of the intricate details! What a mind!!!
