    Question I'm confused

How, exactly, does adding new books work? If you go on the Requests forum, it's a lot of "I'd like this book," and "go HERE and you can find it," but then it never shows up on this site. Are the only books that get added the ones that you can't find anywhere else on the net? Or are they the ones that you CAN find on the net, and if you want them added you have to find them yourself and give someone the link? I am so completely lost. Someone please explain.

Books I add are those I have time to add.

And while Admin's busy with real life the links provided for those books requested are there for you to read until Admin gets round to adding them (should he decide so). As far as I understand it, Admin doesn't want to just copy someone else's ebook and claim it his, he wants those books to be 'his'. The books may be out of copyright but if someone copies them on the net they're theirs. If I worked on a book (scanning it, formating it, proof reading it and I don't know what else) I wouldn't feel too happy if someone else came, copied it off my server and claimed it theirs. Anyone knows what I mean? If so, it's just my opinion.
    I have a plan: attack!

That's the thing. We are talking about books whose copyrights expired. That means they become available to whoever wants to read them. The people who make these books available do so (this is IMO) not because they want recognition, but as a selfless act. Remember, even if you copy/scan/etc. a book, it doesn't mean it's yours, you had nothing to do with its writing, you merely made it available for somebody else. Knowing that should be enough.
